How DAO Proposals Work

  • Anyone can create a proposal (requires 50 AMMO submission fee)
  • Masternode operators (10,000 AMMO collateral) vote yes/no on proposals
  • Proposals that pass are funded from the DAO treasury at the next superblock
  • Budget cycle: a superblock every 43,200 blocks (about 90 days at 3-minute blocks); proposals must be submitted before the next superblock deadline
  • Create a proposal to generate a shareable URL and CLI commands
  • The treasury is separate from the contributor reserve held by the QuarterMaster reserve, which is the main source of AMMOgeek and AMMOfreak awards. A budget proposal is an additional route anyone can use.
